FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division is seeking a Customs Agent (Open) for its Bogota operations. The role ensures timely import/export customs clearance, prepares required forms, and coordinates with authorities to maintain compliance.

The ideal candidate has two years in international freight/cargo customs, knowledge of clearance procedures, and strong communication skills. A high school degree and a valid driver's license are required to support station duties.

Formación

• Two years experience in international freight/cargo customs policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of airport and customs clearance procedures is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license and basic computer literacy.
• Customs-specific English is required.
• CRT experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform customs clearance processing for import/export and transshipments.
• Prepare customs forms and paperwork for timely clearance and duties/taxes calculations.
• Create international manifests and related documents for shipments.
• Coordinate with customs officials and internal teams for compliant clearance.
• Inform customers about duties and taxes and obtain needed information.
• Maintain organized customs documentation and filing.
• Assist with baggage handling and station duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FedEx policies and country regulations.
