FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division is seeking a Customs Agent in Medellín, Colombia. This full-time role handles processing, coordinating, and obtaining customs clearance for import/export and transshipments of documents, packages, and merchandise in baggage or air freight.

Ensures timely and compliant handling of forms, duties, and taxes. Minimum high school degree with 2–4 years in international freight/cargo customs policies or 18 months as a Customs Agent.

Formación

• High School Degree/Equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules and laws, or 18 months as a Customs Agent.
• Knowledge of airport and customs clearance procedures preferred.
• Personable and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver's license. CRT experience preferred. Proficiency in English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs an advanced level of processing, coordinating, and obtaining customs clearance approval for import/export and transshipments of documents, packages, and merchandise in baggage or air freight.
• Prepares necessary customs forms to enable import, export, and transshipments procedures to take place in a timely, efficient, and effective manner for consignments arriving/departing via aircraft.
• Interfaces with customs officials and coordinates customs activities with internal operation employees.
• Maintains all customs documentation well organized and properly filed.
