Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Colombia seeks a Finance Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a team, coordinate daily payment cycles, and ensure accuracy in supplier reconciliations and timely executions.

You will partner with Treasury and cross‑functional stakeholders across multiple countries to optimize processes, resolve critical issues, and drive efficiency, controls, and service quality in our global Finance operations.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable with supplier reconciliations and payment processing.
• Previous team leadership is desirable; ability to guide performance and develop the team.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, Treasury operations, and office tools.
• Advanced Spanish and upper-intermediate English (B2) are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities, manage team performance, support onboarding and training for new members.
• Estimate and schedule cash outflows, align with Treasury, and ensure payment schedules per priorities.
• Ensure accurate supplier reconciliations, follow up on overdue items, and prevent disruptions.
• Analyze reports, identify AP optimization opportunities, and implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain communication with internal/external customers and coordinate with countries to ensure audits are completed on time.
