Job summary

Empresaconfidencial is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee R2R activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.

You will work with local and global Finance teams, leading month-end close, journal entries review, and process improvements. Candidates should have 7+ years in accounting, including 2+ in management, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong experience with financial close, statutory accounting, reconciliations, intercompany processes, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, IFRS/US GAAP, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities, and SOX controls.
• Partner with local and global Finance teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure consistent processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation, and greater operational efficiency.
• Support and develop the local accounting team, promoting high-quality and timely delivery.
