Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an Accounting Lead – Record to Report (R2R) to drive accurate close processes for multiple entities within a dynamic, multinational environment. You will guide teams through complex accounting matters, ensure control compliance, and support audits, while collaborating with regional finance professionals and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

Requires strong leadership and governance across multiple entities.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and applying them to complex scenarios.
Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communication of issues and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Manage the monthly close schedule for designated entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Sign off on journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close outputs per control standards.
Lead and coach junior team members, driving process improvements and standardization.
Coordinate with regional controllers, accounts payable, tax, and other stakeholders on close issues.
Represent the department in audits and ensure audit-ready documentation and messaging.
