Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Lead – Record to Report (R2R) to oversee accurate monthly closes, control frameworks, and cross-entity accounting operations.

You will guide teams on complex accounting issues, support audit readiness, and ensure close deliverables align with corporate expectations. The role requires leading teams through journal entries, reconciliations, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting are required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS with audit experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with English proficiency at B2+.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close for designated entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and sign off on journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and close outputs.
• Ensure SOX controls are followed; uphold closing protocols.
• Lead reconciliation of source systems with SAP and clear variances.
• Act as point of contact for audits and cross-functional close issues.
