Clara, a leading fintech for spend management in Latin America, seeks a Forward-deployed Engineer to join our product engineering and GTM teams. You’ll ship integrations, own each partner’s integration lifecycle, and work hands-on with customers and partners.

Expect to design solutions, write code, and influence the platform through reusable patterns. You’ll collaborate across platforms with API squads, ensure robust observability, and maintain security best practices.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend software development experience with hands-on exposure to API integrations, webhooks, and data mapping.
• Deep fluency in integration patterns: REST, event-driven architectures, OAuth/token management, idempotency.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (preferably Java).
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full integration lifecycle for partners and customers from qualification to handoff.
• Run Phase 0 qualification assessments — map systems, data flows, risk surface, and build approach.
• Build and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and partner adapters using Clara's integration framework.
• Coordinate with partner technical teams as the primary technical point of contact throughout the build.
• Partner with Platform/API squads to leverage core primitives and identify reusable patterns.
• Ensure integrations meet Clara's standards: idempotency, observability, secrets management, data minimization, and sandbox testing.
• Drive clean handoffs — runbooks, dashboards, on-call assignments, and support playbooks.
