Clara is seeking a Forward-deployed Engineer to join our dynamic team and sit at the intersection of Product Engineering and Go-To-Market. You will ship integrations fast, owning the full lifecycle from qualification to handoff while writing real code and shaping the integration framework.

You will collaborate with partners and internal squads to leverage primitives like webhooks and event contracts, ensure observability and security, and deliver clear runbooks and dashboards for each

Formación

• 4+ years of backend software development experience with hands-on exposure to API integrations, webhooks, and data mapping.
• Experience working directly with external partners or customers in a technical capacity and owning the relationship.
• Ability to move fast in ambiguous environments: qualify a new integration request, scope it, and start building within days.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (preferably Java) and comfort working across multiple systems and tech stacks.
• Working knowledge of observability fundamentals: logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, and SLOs.
• Familiarity with integration platforms or connector frameworks (e.g. N8N, Zapier, or custom-built equivalents).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full integration lifecycle for partners and customers, including qualification, scoping, build, and handoff.
• Run Phase 0 qualification assessments — map systems, data flows, risk surface, and build approach.
• Build and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and partner adapters using Clara's integration framework.
• Coordinate with partner technical teams throughout the build as the primary technical contact.
• Leverage core primitives (webhooks, auth patterns, event contracts) and flag reuse opportunities.
• Ensure integrations meet Clara's standards: idempotency, observability, secrets management, data minimization, sandbox testing.
• Deliver runbooks, dashboards, on-call assignments, and support playbooks before closing an integration.
• Feed learnings back into the platform to create shared libraries or configuration patterns.
