LivaNova in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to deliver high-quality field service support for our medical devices, including installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and training.

The role requires English proficiency, strong customer service, and the ability to travel roughly 75% within Colombia; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service SLAs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Field service experience, ideally supporting medical devices or other complex technical equipment.
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple service priorities.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, primarily within Colombia.

Responsabilités

• Perform field service activities, including installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Manage service orders, customer complaints and service calls, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-up and compliance with SLA requirements.
• Prepare technical service quotations, manage spare parts orders and monitor inventory levels in coordination with the Import team.
• Maintain an organized and efficient service workshop in accordance with 5S principles.
• Support the implementation and management of the HLM service contract portfolio, including new service packages and differentiated contract options.
• Monitor service performance indicators and ensure all relevant service data is recorded accurately and on time.
• Partner with Quality and other cross-functional teams to improve service procedures, support SOP implementation and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical service training and support to customers and distributors as required.
