BORGES LOGISTICS INC in Colombia seeks an experienced ELD/HOS Compliance Specialist to audit driver logs, prevent violations, and coordinate with dispatch. You will review logs, identify edits, document corrective actions, and train drivers on ELD use and rules.

The role requires strong FMCSA regulation knowledge, the ability to interpret logs, and the skill to manage multiple drivers with precision. English/Spanish bilingual abilities are preferred; salary will reflect experience.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years auditing ELD logs and HOS compliance for interstate fleets.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Part 395 with practical application.
• Ability to interpret logs, reconstruct activity, and identify violations.
• Experience training commercial drivers and communicating complex rules clearly.
• Proven track record coordinating with dispatch and management.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor fleet logs and review driver logs during shifts.
• Identify and prevent HOS violations and coordinate plan changes.
• Investigate violations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify log accuracy, missing certifications, and required information.
• Coordinate log edits with clear reasons and driver confirmation.
• Train drivers on HOS rules, ELD operation, and related procedures.
• Explain mistakes, train, and follow up to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with dispatch on available hours and escalations as needed.
• Administer the three-warning policy and track compliance records.
• Address ELD diagnostics and guide backup-record procedures.
• Report daily violations and training outcomes to management.
