Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment.

The role requires 4+ years of production experience, hands-on CI/CD and IaC, Kubernetes expertise, and strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go. You will design infrastructure as code, own CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, and implement robust observability and security controls while collaborating with global teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years of hands-on CI/CD and infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Kubernetes and container tooling (EKS/AKS/GKE, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; SQL; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog).
• Security/compliance in PCI-aware or regulated environments.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; on-call rotations across time zones.
• Strong written and verbal communication; English level: upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision - build the DevOps and observability roadmap for Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform or Pulumi/CloudFormation for AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI with tests, security scans, canary deployments, and automated rollback.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container workloads with ArgoCD/Flux.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and SLO-driven alerting.
• Implement security and compliance controls: IAM, SSO, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code (OPA/Checkov).
• Lead incident response: on-call, runbooks, blameless post-mortems, reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers on internal tooling, self-service, and platform standards across teams.
• Participate in a collaborative DevOps environment with AI engineers, QA, DBAs, and product partners across environments.
