Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment. The role requires 4+ years of production experience, hands-on CI/CD and IaC expertise, Kubernetes knowledge, and strong scripting and security skills.

You will own pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, build observability stacks, and collaborate with global teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; strong SQL; experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog).
• Strong cloud security and PCI-compliance awareness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team across time zones with on-call rotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and run cloud infrastructure as code for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; implement automated deployments and rollback.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads with ArgoCD/Flux and related tooling.
• Develop observability dashboards and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Implement PCI-aware security and governance controls across environments.
• Lead incident response, runbooks, and blameless post-mortems to reduce toil and MTTR.
• Collaborate with developers on internal platform tooling and developer self-service.
• Participate in cross-team design reviews and share knowledge across teams in India and the U.S.
