Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Master DataOps Engineer to own the operational backbone for a large-scale Finance data platform modernization for a major US mortgage lender. You will manage environments, CI/CD, and monitoring across Snowflake and Azure, ensuring reliability, cost governance, and an auditable handoff from day one.

You will drive end-to-end provisioning, RBAC, and security, while implementing robust data quality, regression checks, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DataOps or platform engineering experience.
• CI/CD for data pipelines with Azure DevOps (YAML).
• Azure infrastructure: VNets, NSGs, Key Vault, Entra ID, Monitor, Cost Management.
• Terraform with Azure and Snowflake, remote state management.
• Snowflake RBAC design, warehouses, and resource monitors.
• Secrets management with Azure Key Vault and rotation.
• Security-conscious development with IaC scanning in CI pipelines.
• Fluent English (B2+) for client-facing communications.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end environment provisioning and platform readiness across the data stack.
• Build and operate the CI/CD pipeline for data artifacts with YAML-based pipelines.
• Implement end-to-end pipeline monitoring, alerts, and observability.
• Own platform cost attribution and FinOps reporting across Snowflake and Azure resources.
• Manage all Azure infrastructure as code using Terraform with remote state.
• Maintain Architecture and operational runbooks and ensure handoff readiness.
• Lead knowledge transfer and serve as the client-facing point of contact for platform operations.
