Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Master DataOps Engineer to own the operational backbone for a large-scale Finance data platform modernization at a major US mortgage lender. You will manage environments, CI/CD, and monitoring to ensure reliability and cost governance from day one.

You will lead provisioning, data pipelines, and platform cost attribution while documenting architecture decisions and runbooks for a smooth handoff to the client's operations team.

Qualifications

• Solid DataOps/platform engineering experience for a production cloud data platform.
• Hands-on CI/CD for data pipelines with promotion across environments.
• Snowflake monitoring, including CDC replication pipelines.
• Experience with financial/FP&A or mortgage data environments.
• Ownership of reliability and cost governance as a named responsibility.
• Fluent English (B2+) for cross‑team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own environment provisioning and platform readiness across lakehouse and cloud-warehouse layers.
• Build and operate the CI/CD pipeline for metric definitions and transformation logic; manage promotion across dev/test/UAT/production.
• Implement monitoring and alerting across the pipeline for lag, schema changes, and cost anomalies.
• Own platform cost attribution and consumption monitoring across warehouses and compute.
• Maintain architecture decision records and runbooks; hand over to client's operations team.
• Support knowledge transfer through paired sessions during build, not a single handoff.
