Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Master DataOps Engineer to own the operational backbone for a large-scale Finance data platform modernization. You will manage environments, CI/CD, and monitoring to ensure reliability and cost governance from day one.

You will build and operate pipelines, monitor replication, and own cost attribution across warehouses while guiding knowledge transfer to the client operations team.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with DataOps/platform engineering roles supporting a production cloud data platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD for data pipelines and automated testing/regression gates.
• Experience monitoring and alerting on a CDC replication pipeline and cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Ability to own platform reliability and cost governance as a named responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Own environment provisioning and platform readiness across lakehouse and cloud-warehouse layers.
• Build and operate the CI/CD pipeline for metric definitions and transformation logic.
• Implement monitoring and alerting across the pipeline for replication lag, schema-change events, and cost anomalies.
• Own platform cost attribution and consumption monitoring across warehouses and compute.
• Maintain architecture decision records and delivery artifacts with the Architect.
• Write and hand over operational runbooks for client operations post-handoff.
• Support knowledge transfer through paired working sessions during the build.
