Safeguard Global seeks a Team Lead, Data Engineering to guide a squad of Data Engineers and actively contribute to delivering enterprise data solutions. This player-coach role blends coding with people leadership to ensure reliable data pipelines, strong data products, and engineering excellence.

The ideal candidate will own end-to-end delivery, implement data quality and observability frameworks, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, compliant architectures.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 7+ years in data engineering or software engineering.
• 1+ year of leadership as a Team Lead or similar role.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, SQL and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a squad of Data Engineers; provide coaching and career development.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to production support.
• Execute code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Drive observability, monitoring, and incident reduction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Improve platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and communicate delivery status and risks.
