Impelsys is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to drive technical leadership across multiple data engineering projects and squads in Colombia. You will build scalable data pipelines, design architectures, and mentor teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions.

You will lead complex Airflow DAGs, manage DBT workflows, and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS. Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Architecture, and Delivery to ensure high data quality and performance.

Formación

• Hands-on data engineering leader with cloud experience.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers, Architects, and DBAs.
• Design and manage complex Apache Airflow DAGs and pipelines.
• Build, maintain, and optimize DBT infrastructure and code.
• Manage Airflow infrastructure across AWS ECS, Fargate, EC2, and EKS.
• Drive scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient data engineering architecture.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Architecture, and Delivery teams.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, reliability, and performance.
