EPAM Systems in Colombia is seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer (Java+GCP) to drive design and implementation of scalable data solutions. You will mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data engineering products on Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities include leading data software development, architecting pipelines on Databricks, and guiding cross-functional teams to define requirements.
Formación
- 5+ years of experience in data software engineering.
- Proficiency in Java and SQL.
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Databricks.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the design and development of data software solutions using Java and GCP.
- Architect scalable and reliable data pipelines on Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices and standards enforcement.
- Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows for performance.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions across data engineering projects.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English to align on project goals.
