EPAM Systems in Colombia is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own end-to-end data modeling and pipeline delivery as part of a multi-phase enterprise data lake re-architecture. You will partner closely with US-based stakeholders and a distributed engineering team to turn business needs into reliable, well-modeled data products—apply to help drive the next phase to completion.

• 5+ years of data engineering experience across modern and traditional stacks.
• 5+ years of data warehousing experience with strong ETL/ELT foundations.
• Strong SQL for analytics and data quality validation.
• Experience with Databricks and dbt in data pipelines and modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead dimensional data modeling using star schemas and fact/dimension design.
• Own end-to-end delivery of data pipelines from requirements through deployment.
• Translate stakeholder needs into data products and validate with US partners.
• Design ELT workflows in Databricks and dbt aligned to warehouse best practices.
• Define unit tests, support UAT, and document models and decisions.
