Auxis LLC seeks a Collaboration Engineer – Senior Associate to design, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and drive governance and operational excellence. You will partner with Security, Compliance, Identity, and Cloud Platform teams to keep services secure, compliant, and scalable by default.

You will lead complex troubleshooting, mentor engineers, and support migrations and feature rollouts, leveraging AvePoint governance and Purview

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in collaboration or Microsoft 365 engineering roles.
• Microsoft certifications preferred: M365 Administrator; Teams or Security & Compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Design and implement standards for Exchange Online mail flow and governance for SharePoint/OneDrive; manage Teams architecture.
• Governance, retention, and eDiscovery controls using Purview; AvePoint governance usage.
• Troubleshoot mail routing, sharing, and Teams performance issues; act as escalation point.
• Support migrations and feature rollouts; mentor Associate-level engineers; automate tasks where possible.

Job Summary

• The Collaboration Engineer – Senior Associate is responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing enterprise collaboration platforms across Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. This role serves as a technical escalation point and drives platform standardization, governance, and operational excellence.
• The Senior Associate partners closely with Security, Compliance, Identity, and Cloud Platform teams to ensure collaboration services are secure, compliant, and scalable by default.

Responsibilities

Lead administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 collaboration services

• Design and implement standards for:
  • Exchange Online and mail flow
  • SharePoint and OneDrive site governance
  • Teams architecture and lifecycle management

• Manage and optimize Teams Services (TS) including calling, meetings, and integrations
• Design and enforce governance, using AvePoint
• Implement and manage content lifecycle, retention, and eDiscovery (CEA / EDD) controls in Purview
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of:
  • Mail routing and delivery issues
  • Collaboration and sharing issues
  • Teams performance and reliability problems

• Act as escalation point for complex incidents and lead root cause analysis
• Support collaboration platform migrations and feature rollouts
• Automate administrative and governance tasks where possible
• Collaborate with Cloud Security on data protection and compliance controls
• Mentor Associate-level Collaboration Engineers

• Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms
• Deep experience with:
  • Exchange Online architecture
  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive governance
  • Microsoft Teams services
• Strong understanding of:
  • Identity, access, and information protection
  • Data retention, archiving, eDiscovery, and compliance tooling
• Experience with AvePoint or similar governance
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills preferred
