Auxis seeks a Governance Engineer M365 – Senior Associate in Bogotá, Colombia. You will design and enforce governance and compliance controls for Microsoft 365, partnering with Legal, Risk, and Security teams to translate policy into enforceable technical controls.

Candidate should have 5–7 years in M365 governance or digital workplace roles, strong PowerShell skills, and relevant Microsoft certifications. This role focuses on enterprise collaboration security and regulatory alignment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in M365 governance, compliance, or digital workplace roles.
• Microsoft certifications strongly preferred: M365 Compliance Administrator, Information Protection or Risk Management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and enforce M365 governance and compliance controls.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Security, and Collaboration Engineering teams to translate policy into technical controls.
• Develop governance tooling, reporting, and automation; script with PowerShell for automation.
• Maintain knowledge of data lifecycle, retention, eDiscovery, and information protection.
• Translate regulatory concepts into enforceable technical requirements.

• The Governance Engineer M365 – Senior Associate is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing Microsoft 365 governance and compliance controls to ensure enterprise collaboration platforms meet security, regulatory, and risk requirements by default.


• This role serves as a technical authority for M365 governance, partnering with Collaboration Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Security teams to translate policy into enforceable technical controls.

Job Summary

• The Governance Engineer M365 – Senior Associate is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing Microsoft 365 governance and compliance controls to ensure enterprise collaboration platforms meet security, regulatory, and risk requirements by default.


• This role serves as a technical authority for M365 governance, partnering with Collaboration Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Security teams to translate policy into enforceable technical controls.

Responsibilities

Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Purview, Entra, Intune governance and compliance

• Deep experience with:


• Microsoft Purview (Retention, eDiscovery, Information Protection)


• Microsoft Intune


• Data lifecycle and records management


• Understanding of regulatory and compliance concepts (e.g., data privacy, retention obligations)


• Experience translating policy into technical controls


• Familiarity with governance tooling, reporting, and automation


• PowerShell scripting for governance automation preferred
