AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role focuses on AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, and custom pipelines, with a strong emphasis on observability and incident response.

You will lead transitions to managed services, define architecture principles, and mentor engineers across multiple regions, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant operations.

Competenze

• 6+ years in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS production experience and networking basics.
• Expertise with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD.
• Observability, logging, and incident response for distributed systems.
• Lead major incidents across infra, apps, data pipelines.
• Experience with SLA, runbooks, and on-call processes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran/HVR.
• Python, Shell, Bash automation.
• Strong architecture judgment and stakeholder communication.
• Mentoring engineers and improving processes.
• Strong written/spoken English.
• Availability to work LatAm time window.

Mansioni

• Own the reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo, Snowflake, S3, and Tableau.
• Lead the transition into managed services with discovery, risk mapping, and readiness validation.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, and observability patterns.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo, deployment automation, and access management.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Coordinate cross‑platform troubleshooting during incidents and escalations.
• Direct major incidents: impact, recovery, root-cause analysis, and post‑mortem actions.
• Ensure changes/releases have review, validation, rollback planning, and traceability.
• Define reliability metrics: availability, data freshness, and MTTR.
• Mentor engineers and improve platform engineering practices across the team.
