Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead AWS/EKS operations, Argo Workflows, IaC, and data pipelines, ensuring compliance, security, and performance. You will mentor engineers, drive cross-functional incident response, and shape platform engineering priorities while coordinating with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the data platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake and S3.
• Lead the transition into managed services with platform discovery, risk mapping, knowledge transfer and readiness validation.
• Establish and evolve cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD and release practices, observability patterns, and operational controls.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, deployment automation, access management, capacity planning and reliability.
• Translate business and security needs into actionable technical requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions on Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, ingestion pipelines and data lake operations.
• Direct incident response during major events, including post-incident reviews and preventive actions.
• Mentor engineers and enforce best practices across a distributed team.
