EPAM Systems is seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to design and validate cloud architectures for VMware workload migrations to AWS. You will ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework, define Landing Zones, DR architectures, and automation via Infrastructure as Code.

You will support migration teams and guarantee technical quality of solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong standards, and collaboration with large organizations’ engineering

Formación

• 7+ years in infrastructure, solutions architecture, or cloud platforms.
• 3+ years designing solutions on AWS.
• Experience migrating VMware to AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Container architectures with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
• Relational and NoSQL databases modernization/migration.
• Tech transformation experience in large organizations.
• Experience with AWS Professional Services or AWS Partners is desirable.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design cloud architectures for migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS.
• Define Landing Zone architectures, hybrid connectivity, and Disaster Recovery.
• Develop designs for computing, networks, storage, databases and containers.
• Develop IaC components using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Set technical standards for infrastructure automation.
• Review architectures from engineering teams.
• Provide specialized technical support during migration phases.
• Design modernization strategies for apps, containers and databases.
• Participate in reviews, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Document solution architecture and transfer knowledge to operations.
