EPAM Systems seeks an senior Cloud Architect to lead VMware-to-AWS migrations, designing robust cloud architectures and automated infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation. You will validate designs, build landing zones, and guide modernization of applications, containers, and databases.

Strong AWS experience (5+ years) and deep infrastructure expertise are required, with English at B2 level or higher. Collaboration with delivery teams across complex enterprise environments is essential.

Formación

• 9+ years of experience in infrastructure, solutions architecture or cloud platforms.
• 5+ years delivering solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Hands-on experience migrating VMware infrastructure to AWS.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Practical knowledge of container architectures with Docker, ECS or Kubernetes.
• Experience modernizing relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record supporting large organizational transformation programs.
• Nice-to-have AWS Professional Services or AWS Partner experience.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Architect cloud solutions for application and infrastructure migrations to AWS.
• Establish Landing Zone architecture, hybrid connectivity, and DR design.
• Validate end-to-end designs for compute, networking, storage, databases and containers.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Define automation best practices and standards for infrastructure.
• Assess and validate architectures from engineering teams.
• Support delivery teams with domain expertise through migration stages.
• Design modernization plans for apps, containers and databases.
• Contribute to reviews, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Produce architecture documentation and transfer knowledge to operations.
