PRIMO is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage cargo loss and damage claims from intake through resolution. You will investigate, review documentation, and coordinate with carriers, customers, and insurers to protect both customer experience and the company’s financial interests.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in cargo/transport claims, and advanced English. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced logistics setting.

We are looking for a Claims Specialist to manage cargo loss and damage claims from intake through resolution. This role is responsible for investigating claims, reviewing documentation, coordinating with carriers, customers, and insurance providers, and ensuring timely, accurate resolutions while protecting both the customer experience and the company's financial interests.

Responsibilities

• Manage cargo claims from first notice through final resolution.
• Review transportation and claims documentation to determine liability and recommend resolutions.
• Coordinate with carriers, customers, insurance companies, and internal teams throughout the claims process.
• Track claim status, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory deadlines.
• Support recovery and subrogation efforts, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Provide timely updates and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in cargo claims, freight claims, logistics, transportation, insurance claims, or carrier operations.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with TMS or claims management systems is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cargo liability, transportation contracts, or freight documentation is a plus.
