Responsibilities

• Following up with warm leads and callbacks.
• Conduct initial intake calls and gather relevant case information.
• Scheduling consultations with attorneys.
• Answering inbound calls during after-hours coverage.
• Prepare end-of-day reports detailing activity and outcomes.
• Coordinate lead handoff and updates to the daytime intake team.

Role Overview

Job Duck is seeking a Bilingual After-Hours Intake Specialist who thrives in meaningful client conversations and understands the importance of responsiveness outside traditional business hours. In this role, you will serve as a trusted first point of contact for prospective and current clients, ensuring no opportunity is missed during evenings and weekends. Your daily work will center on answering calls, conducting intakes, scheduling consultations, and following up with leads in a professional and empathetic manner. This position is ideal for someone confident on the phone, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities. Schedule:

Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Converting leads into scheduled consultations through strong communication and professionalism
• Entering and updating lead and client information in the CRM or case management system
• Processing payments over the phone while handling sensitive data securely
• Assisting current clients with basic updates, scheduling, and routing needs
• Following up with warm leads and callbacks
• Conducting initial intake calls and gathering relevant case information accurately
• Performing outbound follow-up calls to leads and missed inquiries
• Guiding potential clients through the consultation and hiring process
• Scheduling consultations with attorneys
• Answering inbound calls from prospective and current clients during after-hours coverage
• Preparing and submitting end-of-day reports detailing activity, outcomes, and pending follow-ups
• Coordinating lead handoff and providing updates to the daytime intake team

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience as a Legal Intake Specialist or Intake Specialist
• Prior experience in a law firm environment
• Client service-focused mindset
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Comfort handling confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to work independently after hours
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
• Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
