Job summary

ScotiaTech in Bogota is hiring an Analytics Developer, Associate to design, develop, and deliver analytical and AI solutions. You will work with business and technology partners to build reliable, scalable solutions while applying Bank standards and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience building analytical, data, or software solutions in a junior developer/engineer/analyst role.
• Proficient with Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC frameworks, and cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of modern data engineering practices and Big Data technologies.
• Experience in Agile environments and tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
• Nice to have Power BI or data visualization knowledge.
• Experience in Banking/Retail Banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end analytical solutions coordinating data integration, transformation, analytics, and delivery.
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to create reliable, scalable solutions.
• Implement and promote reusable components, coding standards, and best practices.
• Adhere to risk, compliance, and governance requirements in daily work.
• Support production operations and contribute to a high-performance, inclusive culture.
