Job summary

ScotiaTech in Bogota, a Scotiabank technology hub, seeks an Analytics Developer to design, build, and deliver end-to-end analytics and AI solutions that drive business value. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable data products, while providing technical leadership and ensuring adherence to bank standards.

You will work across data integration, transformation, analytics, modeling, and data delivery with modern data engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science or related field.
• 4-6+ years designing, developing, delivering analytics, data, or software solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience in scalable data models, data transformation frameworks, and analytics data products.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions and data products.
• Collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Own data transformation and modeling layers ensuring alignment with standards and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, promote best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of analytics solutions across markets.
