Job summary

ScotiaTech in Bogota, Colombia, part of ScotiaGBS and Scotiabank, seeks a hands-on analyst to contribute to the Global Fraud Technology team. You will research user requirements, map data, and support implementation of complex solutions across the bank's platforms.

Key tasks include defining workflows, building data lineage and metadata models, testing, and stakeholder coordination. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial/IT, Agile/Scrum, SQL/CQL, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial/IT industry or relevant experience.
• Experience in capital markets or related space.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with solution recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software delivery.
• Experience in SQL & CQL; Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio.
• Refinitiv/Bloomberg experience is a plus.
• Under-graduate degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze requirements, defining user needs for complex problems.
• Participate in implementation with test cases, procedures, and user docs.
• Data mapping, data lineage, and building metadata models.
• Coordinate stakeholders and support project management artifacts.
