Scotiabank is seeking a Data Engineer for International Banking Analytics to design and implement data pipelines and data models for BI and advanced analytics. You will collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data accessibility and enable data-driven decisions, while ensuring governance, risk controls, and regulatory compliance.
The role requires hands-on coding with SQL, PySpark, Pandas and experience with BigQuery, Airflow, and cloud platforms.
Formación
- 3-6+ years experience as a Data Engineer or Technical Business Analyst.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Cloud computing, Data Quality and Governance.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python and Spark; BigQuery experience is essential.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement data pipelines and data models for BI and analytics.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data accessibility.
- Write and optimize code with SQL, PySpark, and Python.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and risk controls.
