Job summary

Scotiabank is expanding ScotiaTech in Bogota, looking for an Analytics Developer to design, build, and deliver data-driven solutions. You will work with business and tech partners to translate complex requirements into scalable data products while ensuring governance and compliance.

You will leverage Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, and cloud data services to drive analytics initiatives, support data transformation, and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team in a hybrid Colombia office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Experience designing scalable data models and analytical data products.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform technologies (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with Agile delivery and tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
