Job summary

Scotiabank in Bogotá seeks a Manager, Business Intelligence for AML Operations. You will lead the design, development and delivery of reporting, dashboards and analytics to inform executives and management.

You will manage data sources, build predictive analytics, and drive process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance. A strong BI background and leadership capability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in BI, reporting or analytics within financial services; AML/Compliance experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading analytics teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of data mapping and data mining.
• Advanced BI tooling knowledge (Power BI or Tableau).
• Bilingual English/Spanish – advanced written and spoken skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of BI reporting, dashboards and analytics for AML Operations.
• Guide and coach the BI team; align, prioritize and manage deliverables with senior stakeholders.
• Develop predictive models and advanced analytics to support operational planning and decision making.
• Standardize metrics across AML units and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Improve data management, automation and reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
