Softgic S. in Medellin, Colombia, seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of senior engineers delivering core eDiscovery software. You will own people leadership and software delivery, plan with Product, remove blockers, and uphold high engineering standards through design reviews.

You will coach engineers, drive performance management, and shape the team’s use of AI tools with responsible practices to improve productivity while protecting quality.

Formación

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership or mentoring roles.
• Experience managing software engineering teams, ideally 10–16+ engineers.
• Strong ability to review software designs and code.
• Own delivery timelines, commitments, and team performance.
• Experience using metrics to drive delivery improvements.
• Experience delivering software in an AI-assisted engineering environment.
• Ability to establish standards for responsible AI-generated code.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of senior engineers building core eDiscovery software.
• Plan and sequence work with Product, commit to delivery timelines and quality.
• Remove blockers and maintain high engineering standards through design and code reviews.
• Develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Shape how the team uses AI development tools and verify AI-generated code.
• Foster a high-performing and accountable team.
