Lean Solutions Group is seeking an organized Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation Specialist in Colombia. The role focuses on reconciling customer accounts, applying payments, and maintaining accurate financial records with strong Excel and analytical skills.

The candidate will perform AR and portfolio reconciliations, review aging reports, and assist with month-end activities while ensuring accuracy and timely payment processing. Independence and multitasking are essential in this role.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Portfolio Reconciliation, or related field.
• Proven experience performing portfolio/account reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (85%+ proficiency).
• Strong knowledge of balances, invoices, payments, credits, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and root causes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and good written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accounts receivable and portfolio reconciliations to keep balances accurate.
• Reconcile customer payments, invoices, credits, and balances.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between records and customer accounts.
• Review aging reports and monitor outstanding balances.
• Apply payments to accounts and maintain documentation.
• Follow up on discrepancies, missing payments, and credits.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records.
• Prepare reconciliation reports using Excel.
• Analyze account balances and transactions to identify inconsistencies.
• Support month-end and period-end reconciliation activities.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers about balances and discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial information is up to date.
• Assist with process improvements related to reconciliation, collections, and AR operations.
