Huawei Technologies in Chile seeks a senior Electrical Engineer / Solution Manager to lead PV and BESS solution development within the Digital Power team, guiding customers and managing stakeholders through the project lifecycle.

You will translate technical needs into optimized Huawei solutions, drive proposals, and present to diverse audiences. A strong PV/renewables background and fluent English are mandatory.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in PV/renewable energy
• Experience in solar PV solution design, technical consulting, and project development
• Knowledge of BESS and energy storage solutions
• Experience with multi-stakeholder projects
• Experience with AutoCAD and related tools
• Strong understanding of Chilean renewable energy market and regulations

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Electrical Engineer / Solution Manager with extensive experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry to join our Digital Power team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex solar energy solutions, providing strategic technical guidance to customers, and managing key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, customer management skills, and the ability to lead solution development for large-scale PV and energy storage projects.

Work Experience & Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in the PV / renewable energy industry.
• Strong experience in solar PV solution design, technical consulting, and project development.
• Solid knowledge of BESS and energy storage solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience managing technical solutions and/or projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design tools.
• Strong understanding of the Chilean renewable energy market, regulations, and industry trends.

Skillset

• Ability to lead technical discussions with customers, partners, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
• Strong project and solution management capabilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English level (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Huawei FusionSolar solutions, inverters, and BESS is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of PV and BESS solutions, providing technical and strategic guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a senior technical advisor for key customers, understanding their business needs and translating them into optimized Huawei solutions.
• Lead the preparation and review of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring solutions are technically feasible, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.
• Organize and lead high-level customer presentations, workshops, and technical meetings, communicating Huawei's solutions and value proposition.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful solution implementation and project execution.
• Support the development of PMGD and utility-scale projects, identifying technical requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines, quality, or customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market analysis and provide strategic insights regarding PV, BESS, regulatory developments, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Identify new business opportunities and support the commercial team in developing strategic accounts and long-term customer relationships.
• Support the continuous improvement of Huawei's solution offerings by providing market feedback and customer insights.
