Job summary

NHS Scotland in Fife is seeking an experienced Operational Health Records Administration Manager to provide leadership and operational management for key 24/7 Health Records Admin services across NHS Fife, including Emergency Department Reception, Minor Injuries Unit Reception, Bed Bureau and Switchboard Services.

You will lead a large multidisciplinary workforce across multiple sites, ensure resilience of critical 24/7 services, manage workforce planning and staff development, and drive service

Qualifications

• Significant senior management experience within Health Records or related healthcare environment.
• Experience managing large teams and services across multiple locations with 24/7 continuity.
• Experience in workforce planning, employee relations, service improvement and change management.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead transformation whilst maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large multidisciplinary workforce across multiple sites.
• Ensure resilience and continuity of critical 24/7 services.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and staff development.
• Lead service improvement, change management and quality initiatives.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and major incident arrangements.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and senior management to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilise performance data to drive service improvement and inform decisions.
