Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Iquique seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to provide project field engineering specialization with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (or near completion) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with intermediate English preferred.

It is a full-time on-site position supporting the Doña Inés de Collahuasi project in the

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Civil Engineering or degree to completion.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of company procedures, tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing construction plans, sketches and programs.
• Developing installation packages for the assigned scopes and supporting field activities.
• Inspecting materials upon receipt and tracking field purchases.
• Monitoring the installation of materials to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Ensuring safety and quality compliance on site.
• Coordinating with design on constructability issues and with Client on outsourced work priorities.
