Job summary

Bechtel seeks an experienced ES&H professional to integrate environmental, safety, and health requirements into planning, design, and project schedules at the Escondida site in Chile. You will provide technical ES&H support to designers and construction teams, ensuring compliance with client and Bechtel standards.

The role requires a professional degree in environment/safety, 8–14 years of relevant experience, and Chilean accreditation.

Qualifications

• Requires a professional degree related to the environment, safety, health and 8 to 14 years of relevant work experience.
• Qualified Occupational Health and Safety Professional (Experto en Prevención de Riesgos) with Chilean accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating ES&H disciplines to implement Bechtel's ES&H program and standards.
• Developing and maintaining programs, systems, and procedures for safety and environment.
• Maintaining ES&H databases including incident data and corrective actions.
• Performing ES&H data analysis to identify trends and drive improvement.
• Leading or supporting risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Coordinating incident notifications and investigations; preparing reports.
