Job summary

Applaudo is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain robust ETL pipelines that transform complex data into actionable insights. You will integrate REST APIs using OAuth 2.0 and build data pipelines on GCP, leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, integration development, or related roles.
• Production ETL/data-integration pipelines using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data warehouse schemas.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling and retries.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines between REST APIs and a GCP data warehouse.
• Develop integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Manage transformation logic for billing events, subscriptions, invoices, payments, and revenue data.
• Ensure pipeline reliability with monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retries.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data parity between sources and warehouse tables.
• Collaborate with architecture and CI/CD teams to follow established patterns.
