EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer to drive scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will mentor the team, lead architectures, and deliver high-quality data products using Python and modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include designing data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring code quality through best practices. Strong English communication is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Databricks.
• Background in designing and building large-scale data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Architect data workflows and processing frameworks within Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices and engineering standards.
• Optimize performance and reliability of data platforms and pipelines.
• Drive technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English at a professional level.
