Bechtel Corporation seeks a senior Cost Engineer to manage estimation, analysis, and control activities for major projects. You will prepare cost studies, review trends, and implement requirements for cost control, delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

The role requires directing cost engineering functions, strong data-driven problem solving, and effective communication with project teams and management. Located in Santiago on-site with Bechtel’s global project teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead cost engineering functions including estimating, control, analysis and management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey findings to management.

Responsabilidades

• Perform non-routine cost estimating, analysis and control activities.
• Coordinate implementation of cost monitoring standards, techniques, systems and reports.
• Prepare and review cost reports; ensure consistency with prior reports and standards.
• Develop budgets and perform budget allocations for specific disciplines or groups of disciplines.
• Investigate data requirements for cost estimating and cost control; collect and classify cost information.
