Bechtel Corporation in Santiago seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to plan, develop, and review electrical engineering activities for complex EPC/EPCM projects. You will provide technical leadership in power systems design and ensure compliance with client specs and industry codes.

The role involves performing electrical studies, developing deliverables, and supporting project execution from concept through start-up.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or international equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power system design, and industrial infrastructure.
• Experience with power system studies using ETAP or equivalent software (load flow, short circuit, etc.).
• Experience preparing electrical equipment purchasing packages and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in EPC/EPCM environments; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; Chilean regulations knowledge a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Developing, coordinating, and reviewing electrical deliverables for all project phases.
• Performing electrical studies and analyses: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination.
• Preparing technical documentation: specs, data sheets, calculation reports, TBEs.
• Coordinating electrical engineering activities with clients, suppliers, contractors, and construction teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting project execution from design to commissioning.
