The University of Rochester is seeking a Senior BI Developer to lead reporting initiatives, design and implement dashboards, and ensure data quality for university systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and support analytics for research and management.

Ideal candidates bring strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools, and a background in higher education or healthcare analytics, applying Agile methods to deliver reliable, scalable reporting solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience required
• Master's degree preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with developing reports and dashboards with one or more Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, IBM Cognos, Tableau, required
• Experience in higher education field, medical or healthcare industry preferred
• Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile, from planning through implementation preferred
• 5 years of Student, HCM & Finance experience, specifically with reporting, preferred
• Experience in Oracle on Unix DBMS environment preferred
• Experience with EPIC reporting preferred

Responsabilidades

• The Senior BI Developer collaborates with cross functional teams and provides leadership for design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, security of reporting and associated applications
• Creates and reviews data audit and quality processes for validation of deliverables and develops actionable recommendations
• Serves as primary administrator for BI tools and supports research teams or management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results
• Develops dashboards and reports to support university systems, including data warehouse and reporting environments
