The Senior Business Intelligence Developer at University of Rochester will lead development of BI reports and dashboards, collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure timely, accurate analytics for research, finance and administration.

You will develop SQL queries, maintain security- and data-quality controls, and serve as an administrator for BI tools while mentoring staff and partnering with IT to deliver actionable insights.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant BI experience required.
• Master's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Experience with reporting/dashboard tools such as PowerBI/Tableau/ Cognos/ etc. required.
• Experience in higher education, medical or healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience with Agile project management preferred.
• 5 years of Student, HCM & Finance reporting experience preferred.
• Oracle on Unix DBMS environment experience preferred.
• Epic reporting experience may be required within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Lead BI development across reporting, dashboards and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide leadership for design, development, testing and deployment.
• Develop data audits and validate deliverables; administer BI tools as needed.
• Create executive reports and dashboards; enable cloud-based reporting solutions.
• Mentor teammates; drive BI training and change management initiatives.
