Descripción de la vacante

NHS Lanarkshire seeks a capable pharmacy leader to ensure timely and accurate supply of medicines. You will manage goods receipt operations, oversee staff, and verify deliveries from wholesalers and hospitals.

You will also handle prescriptions at the dispensary, coordinating with nurses and porters. A Scottish Vocational Qualification Level II is required, with a focus on planning and teamwork.

  • Notify senior technician or pharmacist if orders are incomplete.
  • Receive prescriptions and orders at pharmacy dispensary from nurses, patients or portering staff.

The Role

The postholder provides patient focused quality service to assure an efficient and timely supply of pharmaceutical products and be the team leader for pharmacy staff working within goods receipt area. The accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensed and to receive, check, package and despatch pharmaceutical goods.

In This Key Role, You Will
  • To lead the assistant technical officers and assist the Chief Technician with planning and prioritising work within goods receipt area.
