NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Band 7 pharmacist to deliver, support and develop clinical services across HEPMA at University Hospital Monklands and within NHS Lanarkshire.
Role involves patient-centred pharmaceutical care, education, and MDT collaboration, with a fixed-term 12-month appointment and potential secondment arrangements.

This is a split Band 7 post, comprising 0.5 WTE as a rotational clinical pharmacist and 0.5 WTE supporting HEPMA. Based at University Hospital Monklands. To support the development, delivery and management of ongoing implementation and maintenance of the clinical aspects of HEPMA. To support the ongoing research, development and evaluation of HEPMA.
The HEPMA team supports clinicians in all three Lanarkshire acute hospitals (University Hospitals Wishaw, Monklands, and Hairmyres) and the off-site beds in NHS Lanarkshire.
The post holder is responsible for supporting the completion of roll out to remaining specialist areas including maternity, paediatrics and outpatients.
Please note this is a fixed term post for 12 months. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
