NHS Lanarkshire in Scotland is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Lead for a 12-month fixed term role in the goods receipt area. You will lead assistant technical officers and work with the Chief Technician to plan and prioritise work, receiving and checking pharmaceutical products from wholesalers and hospitals.

A Scottish Vocational Qualification Level II and the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team are required.

Responsabilidades

• To lead the assistant technical officers and assist the Chief Technician with planning and prioritising work within goods receipt area.
• To receive and check all types of pharmaceutical products into the pharmacy department from wholesalers and other hospitals.
• Notify senior technician or pharmacist if there are any incomplete orders delivered.
• To receive prescriptions and orders at pharmacy dispensary from nurses, patients or portering staff.
