Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist | Medical Billing Expert based in Chile for a full-time remote role combining hands-on medical billing with talent acquisition to source and assess skilled revenue cycle professionals for U.S. therapy practices.

You will screen, evaluate, and recommend candidates, leveraging your billing knowledge to distinguish candidates with strong practical experience, while improving assessment methods and recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on medical billing experience covering the full revenue cycle, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, appeals, and A/R follow-up.
• Strong working knowledge of payer requirements, EOB interpretation, reimbursement rules, and common claim denial reasons.
• Ability to explain billing workflows clearly, ask probing follow-up questions, and assess whether candidates' responses demonstrate genuine practical experience.
• Confidence conducting live screening calls and evaluating candidates against role-specific technical requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through across multiple candidates and open positions.

Responsibilities

• Source and build talent pipelines: Identify qualified medical billing and RCM candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach; write and update postings reflecting partner requirements; track activity in ATS.
• Conduct technical screening: Review resumes for full-cycle billing experience, payer knowledge, EMR systems, clearinghouse usage, and therapy billing expertise.
• Assess billing proficiency: Lead screening calls to evaluate understanding of claim workflows, EOBs, denials, appeals, posting, and A/R follow-up.
• Evaluate candidate readiness: Administer and score role-specific skills assessments with rubrics; flag inconsistencies early.
• Recommend qualified candidates: Provide clear, evidence-based written evaluations of strengths, gaps, risks, and readiness.
• Coordinate hiring activities: Present shortlisted candidates, arrange interviews, manage follow-ups, and support onboarding and replacements.
• Improve recruitment quality: Refine billing assessments and scoring standards based on performance and industry trends.
• Share hiring insights: Communicate recruitment trends to leadership to inform sourcing strategies.
• Maintain professional standards: Ensure timely, respectful communication and protect candidate/partner information per HIPAA.
