Job summary

Formulated Automation is seeking a Freight Operations & Sales Specialist to join a US-based box truck brokerage in a hybrid role. You will manage shipments from pickup to delivery, develop new shipper relationships, and drive lane opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years US freight experience, strong English, and a proven track record in outbound sales, backhaul optimization, and coordinating daily operations with carriers and drivers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in U.S. freight brokerage, 3PL, or trucking operations.
• Proven outbound sales and lane-building experience.
• Experience coordinating box truck or truckload shipments.
• Advanced English for direct U.S. client interaction.
• Track record of achieving backhaul and weekly volume targets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Lane Development: outbound calls and lead gen to build shipper relationships and lanes.
• Inbound & Client Engagement: follow up on inquiries, respond to quotes, manage accounts.
• Volume & Capacity Growth: drive carrier growth to target weekly volume across multiple carriers.
• Backhaul Optimization: secure return loads to exceed 90% fill rate.
• Operations & Execution: coordinate daily freight progress, communicate with drivers and U.S. clients.
• Documentation & Systems: prepare rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs; maintain CRM and TMS records.
